About The Position
The purpose of this position is to ship and receive. Inspect shipments and trailers and weigh all incoming eggs. Supply processing department with eggs. Receive and inspect other miscellaneous freight, packages and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, speak and write in English is required
- Ability and willingness to learn computer skills
- Powered pallet jack and/or forklift experience required
- Monitor and comply with food safety and GMP policies
- Knowledge of proper safety procedures
- Must be able to read and follow written instruction, policies and procedures
- Positive team oriented attitude
- Able to train others

Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Weighing incoming eggs
- Documentation of quality and lot tracking issues related to incoming eggs
- Maintaining inventory and control shell egg rotation
- Inspect and sign for incoming product, packages and supplies. Reject when necessary
- Coordinates and stores materials/supplies while maintaining segregation of clean and dirty materials
- Complete and maintain compliance for all required paperwork. Complete corrective actions when necessary
- Transport eggs from cooler to staging area for processing
- Assist as needed during breaks and cleanup
- Clean cooler with floor scrubber and maintain clean environment at all times
