About The Position
The dock employee will be responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining the cylinder dock and assisting customers with their cylinder needs. The dock employee will load/unload cylinders, complete cylinder inspections, pull/pack customer orders and other duties/responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Must be driven and team oriented.

- Bilingual- English/ Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Understand the hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
- Provides assistance with loading trucks and off-loading trucks in preparation for deliveries and transfers.
- Ensures all required pre-fill/post-fill inspections valid and completed before cylinders are released to customers.
- Abides by a safe and compliant culture, correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay.
- Inspect cylinders for defects/test date issues to ensure compliance with government/company policies.
- Paint cylinders to adhere to Awisco's cylinder color code system.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
