About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dock Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate is forklift certified and has hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading freight. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Requirements

Valid forklift certification (counterbalance, reach truck, or other relevant types).
3+ years of warehouse experience, specifically in shipping and receiving.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer or RF scanner skills for documentation and tracking purposes.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
Familiarity with common carriers and LTL freight.
Scan, label, and track materials using WMS or inventory systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
English (Bilingual, Spanish)

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse and dock area.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues. Follow all forklift safety rules and operating procedures
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
Inspect and document all freight, reporting discrepancies or damages.
Prepare shipments by labeling, wrapping, and staging pallets for dispatch.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe dock and staging areas.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure timely processing of shipments.
Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Participate in Auditing shipping supplies
