About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dock Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate is forklift certified and has hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading freight. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Valid forklift certification (counterbalance, reach truck, or other relevant types).
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience, specifically in shipping and receiving.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer or RF scanner skills for documentation and tracking purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
  • Familiarity with common carriers and LTL freight.
  • Scan, label, and track materials using WMS or inventory systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • English (Bilingual, Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse and dock area.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues. Follow all forklift safety rules and operating procedures
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Inspect and document all freight, reporting discrepancies or damages.
  • Prepare shipments by labeling, wrapping, and staging pallets for dispatch.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe dock and staging areas.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure timely processing of shipments.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Participate in Auditing shipping supplies
