About The Position

Controlled Combustion is seeking a qualified Pipefitter/Welder to join the best heating service company in the NYC area. Our service personnel are members of the Metal Trades Branch-Local 638-A.F.L-C.I.O., ensuring they are highly qualified and competent professionals. We provide rigorous in-house training and ongoing instruction from factory authorized experts and educational institutions to keep our team's technical knowledge current and maintenance skills sharp. Our shop holds the prestigious National Board Repair "R" Certificate of Authorization and Symbol Stamp and "U" Certificate of Authorization and Symbol Stamp, and our technicians are certified ASME code welders. We maintain a Class "A" installers license in New York City and are licensed throughout the metropolitan area.

Requirements

• Five (5) years experience under a Licensed Master Plumber
• DOB Full Gas Work Card
• Knowledge of natural gas and fuel oil heating systems

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of utility (ConEd and National Grid) procedures is a plus
• Electrical experience is a plus
• Driver's License
• Installation / Repair of Gas Piping: 1 year (Preferred)
• Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
