About The Position

Empower AI is seeking a DNS / DHCP Administrator to provide implementation, management, and maintenance services to support the Department of State's global mission of providing IT services to DoS users enterprise-wide. This role involves managing assets, access, and operations for over 50K users across on-premise and cloud systems. The administrator will ensure DNS and DHCP services are managed in accordance with customer policies and regulations, coordinate with stakeholders for seamless integration, and maintain reliable network connectivity through DHCP scope and lease management. Additionally, the role includes developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for DNS/DHCP administration, aligning with ITIL framework and DoS standards, and incorporating modernization initiatives and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor's in IT or related field
• Secret Security Clearance

• Comp TIA Sec+ Certification
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Responsibilities

• Update, manage and maintain the Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) servers for over 50K users in both on-premise and cloud systems in accordance with customer policies and regulations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all DNS implementations conform to and integrate with DoS requirements and infrastructure.
• Manage DHCP scopes and leases to ensure reliable network connectivity for the customer.
• Develop and maintain DNS/DHCP administration SOPs for the customer IT service delivery processes aligned Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and DoS standards.
• Update SOPs to reflect modernization initiatives and emerging technologies.
