About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented DMV Clerk to join our Administration/Accounting team. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of DMV documentation, maintain compliance with state regulations, and support title and audit processes. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Automotive dealership experience preferred; CDK and prior DMV experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Process DMV documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Support title and check audit processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Review vehicle titles for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with state requirements (VIN verification, odometer readings, lien releases, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DMV laws and regulations, interpreting state-specific titling requirements as needed.
  • Resolve titling issues through effective communication with customers and internal team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
