About The Position

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive DMV / Wholesale Clerk to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and office support duties related to vehicle documentation, including titles, registrations, license plates, and ownership records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable of California DMV regulations and dealership processes. This position also supports inventory tracking, record keeping, and reporting to ensure all schedules are accurate and up to date. Key Responsibilities: Process DMV paperwork for wholesale vehicles in compliance with California state regulations. Prepare and submit all legal vehicle transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in a timely manner . Manage vehicle documentation, including title transfers, registration paperwork, lien releases, and ownership records. Prepare purchase agreements and trade-in documentation, ensuring accuracy of buyer and seller information. Post and reconcile all cross-sale purchases between dealerships. Maintain organized records and assist with inventory tracking and reporting. Ensure all deal schedules are accurate , complete, and properly maintained .

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a DMV Clerk, Title Clerk, or Wholesale Clerk in an automotive dealership
  • Strong knowledge of California DMV processes, regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in dealership management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
