About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented DMV Clerk to join our busy automotive dealership in New Jersey. The ideal candidate must have prior dealership experience and be highly knowledgeable in processing motor vehicle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience with CDK Global
• Mandatory experience with Dealer 50 software
• Mandatory experience with TriVin
• Mandatory experience with commercial vehicles
• Previous dealership DMV/title clerk experience required
• Strong understanding of New Jersey MVC processes and compliance regulations
• Minimum 1–2 years of dealership DMV/title clerk experience
• Proficiency in CDK and Dealer 50 systems (required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle registrations, titles, and tag work accurately and in a timely manner
• Submit and track all DMV paperwork to ensure proper completion
• Verify deal paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Handle out-of-state title work as needed through Dealer 50
• Maintain organized records of all DMV transactions
• Communicate effectively with sales, finance, and management teams
• Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations
