IHCS has a select network of Medicare and/or Medicaid Certified and Accredited providers to respond to the needs of our patients – 24/7. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

Nice To Haves

• Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired

Responsibilities

• Review patient account open balances.
• Assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS code to outpatient medical records.
• Resubmit the claim for incorrect denials.
