About The Position

Manages and provides supervision of the Surveillance Department personnel and operations. Observes and evaluates employee and customer activity in both gaming and non-gaming areas. Remains current on all Tribal, State and Federal gaming rules and regulations. Informs the Surveillance Manager and submits appropriate reports when incident, infractions and violations occur. Maintain company and departmental policies and procedures. Assist in the training, evaluation and counseling of surveillance personnel. Maintain and keep on file all reports, time sheets, inventory, ordering and receiving, memo’s and all incoming and outgoing information and keep on file. Will keep track of all upcoming evaluations both probationary and annually. Keep track of all training and keep in each file.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 21 years of age
  • 2-3 years of Surveillance experience
  • 2-3 years of Supervisor/Manager experience
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of casino operations, casino games as well as cheating and embezzlement scams
  • A comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems
  • Concept of operations and supervisory training
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Ability to operate computers
  • Ability to complete work on time with little to no supervision
  • Ability to handle possibly stressful situations
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Candidates for this position will be required to have dependable transportation available to them.
  • Must also maintain a valid Driver’s License and be insurable on our company’s policy throughout your time of employment with the casino.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates internal and external departmental procedures and offers solutions to any vulnerable areas.
  • Assists in the training, evaluating and counseling of surveillance personnel.
  • In absence of the Surveillance Manager is in charge of the Surveillance department.
  • Performs other duties as directed by Surveillance Manager
