About The Position

This position is responsible for product planning and tour operation within the DMC department, specifically for the Leisure USA FIT PKG. The role involves analyzing market conditions, developing new tour ideas and itineraries, negotiating with clients and suppliers, and ensuring smooth tour operations. The position also requires client management, maintaining open communication with the Customer Service team, and managing tour costs and itineraries using the TOGO system. Requirements

  • Possesses 0-1 years of experience in the travel industry, or equivalent skills, in one's expertise.
  • Possesses sufficient knowledge and skills to perform day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Requires minimum supervision.
  • Speaks, reads and writes Japanese language.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes market conditions to develop new tour ideas and new itinerary.
  • Creates new tours in an employee's assigned city or destination.
  • Observes, receives and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources to provide accurate information and advice to maximize cost savings and provide a high degree of customer service.
  • Negotiates with clients and suppliers.
  • Works and maintains open communication with Customer Service team.
  • Makes tour operation arrangements daily to cater to customers' needs.
  • Manages an itinerary using TOGO system.
  • Manages and updates the tour costs in TOGO system.
  • Identifies client’s needs and addresses them in an effective and timely manner.
  • Manages client accounts and maintains a good relationship.
  • Maintains strong relationship with clients and related parties.
  • Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by your superiors.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to your superiors for solutions.
  • Maintains good communication with your superiors, office staff members and outside contacts.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
