About The Position

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) is seeking a Part Time Phlebotomy Service Representative I for their Owasso, OK location. This position operates Monday-Friday from 1pm-5pm. The role involves performing assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities. A positive, professional, and supportive attitude is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively as a team member in a respectful, productive environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, specimen requirements and basic computer use is helpful.
• Must comply with all DLO safety and compliance policies.
• Must be able to communicate effectively to clients, patients and staff in person and on the telephone.
• Must have excellent patient service skills.
• Must be able to adjust schedule to help cover other shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience working/interacting with patients in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
• Specimen collection will include all age groups and both Inpatients and Outpatients.
• Clerical tasks and computer data entry are a PSR responsibility.
• Must be customer service focused and professional.
