About The Position

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician I to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves performing routine testing in various laboratory departments, processing specimens, maintaining instruments, and adhering to all employer and hospital policies. The primary focus will be on clinical laboratory duties, with additional responsibilities including assisting the supervisor/manager with special projects.

Requirements

• AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MT/MLT certification.
• Ability to maintain a professional, courteous, and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress.
• Must be a team player.
• Keyboard skills are important.
• Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude are required.
• Must be willing to work overtime or other times or shifts if required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Epic and Media Lab is a plus.
• Good computer skills plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and serology.
• Process specimens.
• Follow employer and hospital policies.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Main responsibility will be duties in the clinical laboratory.
• Additional duties will include assisting supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.
