About The Position

This position will assist with contract management activities. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Conduct on-going contract management functions to oversee provider service performance and contract requirements. Serve as a primary contact between the Department and the service provider/program.  Review all contract monitoring reports to ensure service delivery according to contract terms and conditions. Communicate effectively with providers, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship.  Develop and maintain a contract file for each contract and contract file maintenance review. Coordinate the activation and implementation of contracted programs (onboardings). Work with providers to ensure required documentation is submitted with invoices and process invoices according to Florida Statutes (F.S.) 215.422 prompt pay law. Maintain contract expenditure and budget ledger.  Conduct administrative compliance reviews and review provider performance measures. Provide technical assistance, ensure compliance, and conduct monitoring through site visits. Position requires travel for the purpose of overseeing provider performance and compliance. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to collect evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
  • Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
  • Ability to conduct fact-finding research.
  • Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.

  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS).
  • Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Program Monitoring and Management (PMM).
  • 1 to 2 years of Contract Management experience.
  • Knowledge and ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets using formulas.
