About The Position

This is a Residential Contract Manager position, which also includes responsibilities for coordinating work and processing invoices for Department of Juvenile Justice contracts statewide.

Requirements

• Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedure relating to operational management analysis.
• Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Understanding and Proficiency in computer technology and systems applications of Microsoft Office, and other functional software programs.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets using formulas.
• Has contracting experience.
• Has knowledgeable in Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) policies and procedures, the continuum of care of services and systems.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-going contract management functions to oversee provider service performance and contract requirements.
• Serve as a primary contact between the Department and the service provider/program.
• Review all contract monitoring reports to ensure service delivery according to contract terms and conditions.
• Develop and maintain a contract file for each contract and contract file maintenance review.
• Coordinate the activation and implementation of contracted programs (onboardings).
• Work with providers to ensure required documentation is submitted with invoices and process invoices according to Florida Statutes (F.S.) 215.422 prompt pay law.
• Maintain contract expenditure and budget ledger.
• Conduct administrative compliance reviews and review provider performance measures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
