About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Corporates Divisional Account Management team, a focused, high-performing group at the center of Market Intelligence growth in Commercial Banking. Over the past several years, we’ve expanded both our capabilities and our client impact—and we’re looking for someone who is energized by building trusted relationships, solving meaningful client problems, and helping financial corporates make better, faster decisions. As an Account Manager, you’ll partner closely with sales and internal product specialists to ensure clients realize measurable value from our Market Intelligence solutions, supporting workflows such as Market and competitive monitoring, Risk and exposure awareness, Client coverage and origination support, Treasury and balance-sheet decision support, and Internal reporting and executive updates. The opportunity to step into a highly visible role at the center of Market Intelligence growth, directly influencing our success. Continuous development of your industry knowledge and commercial mindset by partnering with top-tier banking executives and internal product specialists. A dynamic environment where creative problem-solving is encouraged, allowing you to build trusted advisor status rather than just acting as a product vendor.

Requirements

  • A strong commercial mindset with prior experience selling to, speaking to, or interacting with banking executives.
  • A genuine interest in and ability to learn about financial corporates workflows and personas, developing the industry specific knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Confidence in meetings, presentations and dealing with prospects and customers over the phone or in person
  • Creative thinking and problem solving to drive solutions that address client needs across the D&R and RVS suite of solutions

  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales/business development with a focus on solution selling
  • All candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office.
  • Must have an indefinite right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Financial Corporate relationships, driving retention and net growth through proactive engagement and value delivery
  • Partner with Sales experts on expansion and new business, identifying use cases, supporting renewals, and contributing directly to closing outcomes
  • Translate client goals into actionable adoption plans, ensuring the right teams at the client are using the right capabilities in the right workflows
  • Become a trusted advisor, recognized for bringing ideas, insight, and practical solutions—not just product knowledge
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
