About The Position

The Division Network Executive will work with Managed Health Senior Staff to define and establish network organizational structure options such as ACO, CIN, ALYT, Contracted, and Owned entities. This role leads the evaluation and decision-making for network participation in contracts, leads contract physician category assignment, and drives network clinician participation and covered lives growth planning and strategies. The executive will provide insights on Value-Based Care (VBC) contract terms and manage the VBC contract portfolio and other lines of business (CMMI, MCD, MCR, Com, ACA, DTE). They will collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement a network strategic plan, and lead all aspects of governance and subcommittee membership, including join/term/succession planning. This role provides insights into governance model/structure standards and creates, updates, and manages approval of governance charters, bylaws, and service agreements. The executive partners with Managed Health Functional leads to create a governance roadmap, prepare agendas, manage meetings, logistics, and follow-up. They are responsible for establishing and managing network culture, including performance and behavior expectations, and provide input on the Enterprise Hospital Quality and Efficiency Program (HQEP). Additionally, this role supports the execution of Managed Health goals and key initiatives, partners to create Managed Health and network scorecard metrics and targets, and may hold leadership positions within individual networks. The executive manages and is accountable for network action planning and results, and partners to create, manage, and be accountable for network management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of healthcare planning and management sufficient to manage, direct and coordinate the operation of a core market and clinical enterprise business development function.
  • Knowledge of the medical environment, physician group practice, managed care, physician compensation, healthcare contracting, acute care delivery, ancillary services and regulations, financial and operational systems.
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills that will foster trust, clear vision, mutual respect and positive staff and physician relations.
  • Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, creativity, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with Managed Health Functional leads to create governance roadmap, prepare agendas, manage meetings, logistics and follow-up.
  • Responsible for establishing and managing network culture, including performance expectations and behavior expectations.
  • Provides input on Enterprise Hospital Quality and Efficiency Program (HQEP).
  • Supports execution of Managed Health goals and key initiatives.
  • Partners with Managed Health functional leaders to create Managed Health and network scorecard metrics and targets.
  • May be required to hold leadership positions within individual networks to support leadership if required and appropriate.
