About The Position

The Show Diver is primarily responsible for providing the guests with an exhilarating show experience through performance diving or narration of various dive shows as well as in-water guest programs. This position answers to the Dive Operations Manager and the Director of Husbandry. Due to the nature of our business, we work when others play in an attraction that is open 365 days of the year! You will be expected to be regularly available to work any shift during, before or after these hours of operation.

Requirements

• Certified to SCUBA dive by a nationally recognized training organization such as PADI and be a Rescue Diver, Dive Master, or Instructor.
• Must be First Aid and CPR certified or willing to be certified.
• Need to be outgoing, energetic, have great public speaking skills and understand good customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Oxygen Administration Certified.
• WHIMIS Certified.

Responsibilities

• Performs energetic, educational, and entertaining dive shows for guests.
• Adheres to all dive guidelines set forth by the Dive Safety Board.
• Must have knowledge of all exhibits including the animal life that is in each exhibit.
• Assists husbandry staff in cleaning and tank maintenance.
• Assists the husbandry staff in food prep and animal care.
