About The Position

Monticello High School is seeking a Dive Coach. The position involves developing and training student-athletes, adhering to VHSL rules and regulations, and fostering positive relationships within the school and community. The coach will be responsible for organizing practice schedules, instilling discipline, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. This is a part-time, temporary position with a coaching stipend available. Duties include instruction, travel with student-athletes, and regular contact with coaches, administrators, parents, and the media. Work will be performed in school settings, requiring physical activity and close contact with student-athletes.

Requirements

Knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations.
Ability to develop and train AA student-athletes.
Personal skills that reflect positive relations with high school student-athletes, parents, and the community.
Extensive knowledge of the principles of individual and team fundamentals of the listed sports.
Ability to organize and prepare practice schedules.
Ability to develop a solid discipline that emphasizes teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Previous coaching experience is required.
