About The Position

This is a Long Term Substitute (LTS) position for a Districtwide Elementary Teacher, serving grades K-5. Candidates must possess or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the relevant area. The selected candidate will need to demonstrate a strong academic background, provide excellent educational references and related experience, show knowledge of current educational research, and pass a series of interviews and local requirements. Applications are to be submitted electronically through the applicant tracking system. A complete application packet for external applicants includes a PA Standard Teaching Application, Letter of Interest, Resume, Three current Letters of Recommendation (within one year), Copy of Teaching Certificate, and Copy of college/university transcripts. Internal candidates only need to submit a letter of interest electronically. The successful candidate will also be required to obtain Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and the Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.

Requirements
