As a Wildlife Area Technician (Fish and Wildlife Technician) in Roseburg, Oregon, you will assist district wildlife biologist and assistants in performing all wildlife management functions and related activities required to carry out the Department's programs in the Douglas County, Umpqua Watershed District. This position is temporary with an anticipated duration of June 15, 2026 – October 31, 2026. United States Forest Service housing is provided for the duration of this position at the Toketee Ranger Station. The goal of this recruitment is to fill the positions at the Fish & Wildlife Technician (FWT) level. However, we encourage candidates to apply for the Fish & Wildlife Technician Entry level as the department may consider under-filling the position. This position requires acquiring an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Safety Education Card obtained through the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department within the first thirty days of appointment.
