About The Position

We are seeking an experienced District Visual Merchandiser to join our team. This role – reporting to the District Manager with a dotted line relationship to the corporate Sr Director of Visual Merchandising – upholds the in-store presentation and product storytelling across the local network of stores, ensuring the store environment embodies the authenticity, craftsmanship, and enduring appeal of our Brooks Brothers heritage. The successful candidate is equal parts creative and operational, combining a thorough understanding of luxury presentation standards and brand storytelling with meticulous execution skills, to ensure that every store embodies the brand’s heritage while meeting sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual merchandising, retail management, fashion design, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in visual merchandising
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance creativity and operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of tailoring, menswear fit, and product categorization.
  • Proficient in visual planning tools, PowerPoint, and design software (Photoshop or Illustrator a plus).
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to travel within district or region (up to 90 – 95% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Implement seasonal visual merchandising guidelines across assigned store(s), ensuring consistency with the brand’s global aesthetic.
  • Oversee window installations, mannequin styling, and in-store displays that tell a cohesive brand story aligned with campaign themes.
  • Maintain visual excellence across all store environments through regular visits, feedback, and coaching of in-store teams.
  • Partner with the store management team to understand product placement and execute daily maintenance on the sales floor.
  • Train and mentor in-store sales teams on brand presentation standards, styling techniques, and seasonal guidelines.
  • Manage visual elements inventory (fixtures, signage, props, mannequins) for assigned stores.
  • Conduct detailed store walk-throughs to evaluate visual standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficient in utilizing company reports, such as the Op Stock report for sell through and product placement, to help inform local market needs.
  • Assist with new store openings, renovations, closings, and window changeovers, ensuring readiness and alignment with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with facilities and store design teams to maintain optimal visual environments.
  • Work with the corporate teams to adapt global directives for local relevance.
  • Provide feedback on local market preferences, product flow, and creative opportunities to enhance storytelling.
  • Support seasonal showroom set-ups, press events, and retail activations to represent the brand’s visual direction.
