Training and development managers conduct and supervise development programs for employees, Leads, and Operational Management Teams. They assess where training is most needed, conduct the training, and evaluate the effectiveness of the training provided by trainers and supervisors. The goal is to enhance productivity and quality of work, for training to be widely accepted as a method of improving employee morale and as an opportunity to build loyalty to the organization. Training needs to be updated as needed due to the increasing complexity of the work environment, the rapid pace of organizational and technological change, and the growing number of jobs in fields that constantly generate new knowledge. The aim is to create a culture where employees generally appreciate knowing that their employers are willing to invest in making sure they're as well-trained as possible, which gives them more career development opportunities. This role will maximize existing training and onboarding platforms and processes to ensure a positive/improved onboarding, training, and follow-up throughout the training, permitting, and training process.
