About The Position

CVS Health is hiring a part-time District Support Pharmacist (Floater) to support pharmacy operations and deliver patient care. The Staff Pharmacist supports the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and helps manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.

The role supports adoption and management of patient care programs and helps customers and patients stay healthy. The pharmacist is expected to show empathy and compassion, develop Pharmacy Support Staff, identify business opportunities and solutions, lead the team toward goals, adapt to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting, collaborate to improve outcomes, build commitment around shared purpose, promote a positive team culture, and use acquired knowledge to support healthy outcomes and distinguish CVS from competitors.

Requirements

• Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
• Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
