District Support Pharmacist Full Time
About The Position
CVS Health is hiring a full-time District Support Pharmacist to help deliver accessible, convenient, and compassionate health care. In the Staff Pharmacist role, you will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and help manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy. This includes patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial performance, loss prevention, and workflow management. You will help keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs. Requirements
- Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
- Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
- Support management, oversight, and operation of pharmacy activities, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to support patients’ health.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion toward patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments, addressing development opportunities, and reducing knowledge gaps.
- Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
- Lead the team in implementing solutions and achieving specified goals.
- Adapt plans to changing needs in a community healthcare setting.
