About The Position

A Supervisor's job is to see to it that each branch within their district maximizes profit each month. They accomplish this by knowing, teaching, training, promoting, and enforcing policies and procedures. A supervisor must develop a team and retain quality employees to enhance the company's profits. This is done by providing leadership, motivating, and inspiring their people. We must make them feel appreciated and challenged. We expect all Sunset Management Supervisors to take charge of their district and consistently meet company expectations. The District Supervisors position oversees the activities of 6 to 10 locations with 1-4 employees in each location.

Requirements

  • Previous supervision experience in the finance industry displaying overall success is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Above average in communication skills with ability to train and public speak.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of collections and loans in small loan industry along with previous experience with applicable insurance products.
  • Able to retain and enforce company policy and procedures.
  • Able to identify and recruit potential successful employees.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Control the areas below in 6 to 10 branches: Branch performance in the lending and tax preparation business, Operational standards in loans, collections, profits, and account retention, Soundness of credit extension, Effectiveness of collection routine, Quality of staff/personnel, Asset and cash control, Filing procedures, Proper handling of credit insurance product sales per state law, Proper handling of non-credit product sales per state law, Legal action, Bankruptcy, Cleanliness/appearance of branches, Employee training and counseling, Total compliance with all required federal and state regulations, Assist in resolving employee and customer disputes.
  • Continue company growth in open accounts, tax customers and profit.
  • Identify and recruit potential successful employees.
  • Coordinate and direct the functions of a territory, making certain that his/her district is profitable, and his/her offices remain in compliance with company, state, and federal policy, procedures, and regulations.
  • Recruit quality personnel and develop a brand for the company.
  • Teach managers how to manage and delegate.
  • Be a leader, a master teacher and motivator.
  • Be the ultimate team player.
  • Handle high pressure situations on a daily basis, with the company's best interest in mind.
  • Take whatever steps are necessary to get the job done, including arriving at the branch at 8am, leaving the branch at 9pm, spending the night or nights in hotels, working with the manager etc.
