About The Position

The District Science Content Team Lead works with other Content Team Leads and the Director of Teaching and Learning to help plan and facilitate district team meetings. This role supports shared learning around science content, standards, and curriculum work across the district, while helping the team build clear next steps that can be shared back with building teams.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead professional learning for the district-wide Science team, based on current science content, standards, and district curriculum goals.
• Lead district-wide content team meetings.
• Act as a liaison between the district-wide Science team and the building teams, supporting clear communication and implementation of content strategies.
• Lead instructional growth and curriculum development for the district-wide Science team.
• Plan, lead and facilitate a minimum of three Science team meetings and collaborate on curriculum improvement strategies.
• Ensure open and ongoing communication with district science teachers, and building administrators, to ensure goals and action plans are implemented and achieved.

Benefits

• Stipend: $1,955 for the 2026–2027 school year, paid in accordance with the NMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Appendix B — Supplemental Salary Schedule.
