About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive profitable growth and market development within their assigned territory. This role supports the components division, specifically the MBCI and Metal Sales Brands, and is positioned within MBCI’s Commercial Roof & Wall segment, selling directly to sub-contractors, general contractors, and roofing contractors. The ideal candidate will develop and implement market plans, possess a comprehensive understanding of all company products and systems, and demonstrate a deep understanding of key customer businesses and their critical measures. This role requires effective collaboration with internal departments to optimize customer experience and the ability to work with operating systems.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all CBB associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents and sales force.
  • Must be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they arise.
  • Must possess a minimum of 8 years of proven sales/marketing and/or sales management experience.
  • Experience in commercial construction and/or building materials.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.
  • Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel 50% - 60% of the time (2-3 overnights a week).

Nice To Haves

  • Pre-engineered metal buildings experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals.
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market.
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customer’s business and the critical measures that drive each account.
  • Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient.
  • Ability to work with Operating Systems.
