MiniMed is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Clinical District Managers and Territory Managers, driving sales performance within budget. The DM recruits, trains, and retains team members, sets territory sales goals, and collaborates with the Regional Sales Director on strategy and planning. This is a field-based position that will support our Southwest District, covering Arizona, New Mexico, and a portion of Western Texas. The ideal candidate will reside in Phoenix, AZ, and is expected to be in the field 3-4 days per week. The role involves setting a clear district vision, motivating the team, and fostering collaboration between sales and clinical teams to maximize sales coverage and performance. This includes using metrics to track progress, ensuring territory strategies are executed, maintaining sales data for market analysis, and supporting strategic account planning. The District Sales Manager will also build relationships with key accounts, provide input to regional leadership, collaborate with the Inside District Sales Supervisor for pipeline management, and ensure field personnel achieve revenue and market development goals. Capturing HCP engagements via Salesforce is crucial, as is managing the district budget and expenses. Coaching, feedback, performance evaluation, and overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and training are key responsibilities.
