Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or related fields with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization; preferably with Google workspace
  • Ability to travel up to 75% to different locations within your territory
  • Must possess and maintain the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in accordance with the licensing requirements of the states in which work is performed

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between GM, dealerships, and key business partners, building strategic relationships that drive performance, growth, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide consultative coaching and mentorship to dealership leadership and staff to improve operational performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Analyze dealership performance, sales trends, market conditions, competitive activity, and customer satisfaction metrics to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions that drive business results.
  • Support the successful launch of new products, programs, and initiatives by coordinating sales, marketing, and communication efforts between dealerships, the independent aftermarket (IAM), and GM stakeholders.
  • Partner with dealerships to optimize vehicle and parts inventory management through forecasting, ordering, allocation, and inventory stabilization strategies.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the GM allocation system (Consensus) and vehicle ordering system to offer coaching to the dealers to ensure optimal inventory ordering.
  • Track dealership commitments and action plans, provide follow-up support, and ensure timely completion of agreed-upon activities.
  • Drive adoption and sales of GM vehicles, accessories, products, and services by identifying growth opportunities and executing territory-specific business plans.
  • Resolve customer and dealership concerns by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective and timely solutions.
  • Monitor dealership training participation and compliance with GM standards, identifying opportunities to enhance capability, knowledge, and performance.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to assess dealership operations, provide consultative support, and ensure execution of GM programs, initiatives, and performance expectations.
