About The Position

Oishii is seeking a District Sales Lead (DSL) to support the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in maintaining premium merchandising standards, educating store teams, and developing relationships within assigned retail locations. The DSL will gather insights from the field to inform sales and marketing tactics and ensure consistent inventory levels. This role is primarily field-based (90%) with administrative duties (10%).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistent inventory levels across all assigned stores, providing guidance to store teams on product orders (POs) and ensuring each location submits POs on a weekly basis.
  • Monitor and minimize shrink (unsold product) to below 10% across the district.
  • Uphold Oishii merchandising standards on-shelf, as defined by RSM and Oishii leadership, through weekly visits to each store in the district.
  • Complete post-visit reports via GoSpotCheck (mobile reporting platform) after each store visit.
  • Partner with the RSM to develop solutions for market challenges and act on identified opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at each store location, including produce team members and other department leads, to drive brand awareness and excitement through seeding, sampling, in-store employee events, and product trainings.
  • Support the RSM in identifying and executing field activations aligned with the company's marketing agenda.
  • Assist the RSM with business development initiatives, including lead identification, distributor ride-alongs, and sample drops with prospective customers.
  • Order and inventory oversight per store.
  • Demo planning and preparation in coordination with the RSM and HQ.
  • Reporting field and consumer insights internally.
  • Supporting the RSM in maintaining a centralized calendar of demo and field activity for visibility and budgeting purposes.
