About The Position

Albertsons Companies is seeking an individual to join their team as a District Operations Specialist for the Meat department. This role involves monitoring and supporting the execution of the division merchandising plan in assigned stores, as well as training, coaching, overseeing, and developing store teams within the department. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned stores to work with the Department Manager and staff, sharing merchandising plans to meet sales, gross, and labor targets.
• Counsel department Managers and Store Directors on all aspects of product merchandising and customer service.
• Visit stores to evaluate overall department presentation, cleanliness, compliance, and program execution according to company policy and procedures.
• Measure store-level performance through department sales, gross profit, and labor percentages.
• Execute plans by reviewing results and observing store department conditions.
• Determine the success of training programs by reviewing and assessing evaluations.
• Provide work guidance to store associates on product knowledge, sales and marketing techniques, profit and loss understanding, and company policy compliance.
• Train department managers on the basics of the business and managing their departments.
• Provide input to the Store Director on Store Department Manager performance.
