About The Position

The District Manager is responsible for the financial and cultural success of the district and how the assigned district impacts and contributes to the overall value and strength of the team. They will lead and develop a team of General Managers (and Area Managers) who lead a portfolio of 9 company owned stores throughout in the Las Vegas area. Success in this role comes from setting and hitting goals, developing talent, and creating a culture of high performance and high fun. This role requires abilities in people planning and business strengths, in meeting sales plans and retention metrics to both produce results in existing stores and develop a talent pipeline and operational excellence to open new stores with ease. This role is uniquely positioned to drive company growth and lead into the future. The District Manager must be in constant pursuit of delivering our Purpose and living our Values. Requirements

  • At least 3-4 years of restaurant or retail multi-unit management experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Experience analyzing financial reports (Profit and Loss, Income Statement, etc.).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early hours as 3am depending on the bakery, some nights, weekends and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Post High School education or college degree.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop General Managers (and Area Managers) who exceed guest expectations, grow sales and maximize profit by rigorously selecting, diligently training and thoughtfully coaching and mentoring staff through store vitals by utilizing tools and resources including Store Visits 2-4x monthly, People Planning, Recruiting, Financial Business Reviews, and Marketing Tools and Directives.
  • Ensure all stores are adequately staffed with quality Shift Leaders, and where applicable, Assistant General Managers.
  • Maintain management depth by regularly planning for succession, actively recruiting and critically selecting internal and external General Manager candidates
  • Provides timely and thoughtful feedback.
  • Consistently demonstrates active and timely coaching capabilities
  • Offers guidance to leaders regarding personal development opportunities and career path.
  • Monitor and participate in all levels of training from new Team Member through District Manager
  • Manage the district Profit and Loss (P&L), including General and Administration
  • Utilizes and interprets P&L and financial statements to analyze financial trends and make the necessary adjustments
  • Assist General Managers in the timely resolution of all issues, including but not limited to: employee/customer relations, supply chain management and asset management
  • Follow-up on all customer and employee complaints and ensure necessary corrective measures at the store level
  • Uses financial planning knowledge to manage budgets for stores, self, and company, day-to-day, and for the future
  • Coordinate all activities associated with timely new store openings
