About The Position

Call Your Mother is seeking a District Manager based in Miami, Florida. This role is for a passionate individual focused on restaurant operations, leadership development, and team building. It's a hands-on field leadership position where you will be actively involved in shops, coaching leaders in real-time, and driving results through people. You will be responsible for developing General Managers, ensuring operational excellence, supporting new shop growth, and upholding the company culture. The role involves spending significant time in the shops, working alongside General Managers and team members to coach, teach, problem-solve, celebrate successes, and ensure both people and business thrive. You will report to the SVP of Operations and manage 3-6 locations within a region, inspiring teams, developing future leaders, and championing the company's Core Values ("VIBES").

Requirements

  • 2+ years of multi-unit leadership experience
  • At least 2 years in a quick-service, fast-casual, or high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong understanding of P&L ownership, labor management, inventory controls, scheduling, food costs, and financial levers driving restaurant performance
  • Comfortable reviewing business results and supporting operations on the line
  • Belief that the best leaders are visible, present, and willing to do any job they ask others to do
  • Proven track record of attracting, developing, and retaining strong, diverse teams
  • Genuine excitement about building teams, developing people, and growing a successful business
  • Lead with humility, confidence, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities

  • Directly support and develop General Managers and hourly Shop Leaders across multiple shops, helping every leader and location perform at their best.
  • Work manager shifts shoulder-to-shoulder with shop teams because the best leaders stay close to the people, food, and guest experience.
  • Bring Call Your Mother’s vision, culture, standards, and BIG V.I.B.E.S. to life through exceptional execution in every shop, every day.
  • Spend significant time in the shops coaching leaders and working alongside teams to improve operations, hospitality, food quality, and overall performance.
  • Train and mentor leaders on scheduling, labor management, hiring, inventory controls, food safety, and financial performance.
  • Partner closely with General Managers to build strong teams, create thoughtful succession plans, and develop future leaders at every level.
  • Conduct regular business reviews focused on P&L performance, guest feedback, operational opportunities, and plans for continued growth.
  • Proactively solve facilities, maintenance, technology, staffing, and operational challenges so leaders can keep their shops running smoothly.
  • Build a positive, high-performing culture rooted in accountability, development, belonging, and teamwork.
  • Drive sales growth and profitability by identifying opportunities, improving operations, and holding teams accountable to consistent execution.
  • Champion the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, organization, food quality, and hospitality across every shop.
  • Build meaningful relationships in the community through local partnerships, events, and neighborhood engagement.
