About The Position

The District Manager will drive profit growth to meet defined district profit increase goals by developing and executing a district plan to maximize revenue. This role involves regular interaction with senior management or executives across functional areas to ensure objectives are met. The District Manager will generate sales forecasts, predict revenue, and participate in strategic and tactical planning for the district by leveraging, allocating, and maximizing ROI for all tools and resources. They will construct business plans incorporating essential market drivers and analytics, monitoring and adjusting plans according to shifts, emerging conditions, and threats. This role will champion corporate initiatives, plan and lead District Meetings, and provide continuous coaching and development to Account Managers and District Sales representatives to create and maintain value. Ensuring all new hires achieve training standards that lead to expertise in discussing products and services, and taking quick action to address performance deficiencies are key responsibilities. The District Manager will maintain documentation, apprise appropriate others of performance issue status, and support team and internal partners in identifying trends, understanding market conditions, and sharing expertise. A clear vision for the team corresponding to strategic objectives will be reinforced. The role requires working closely with large, strategic, current and prospective customers to understand business needs. This position involves 10% domestic travel.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry or related field or foreign equivalent and three (3) years of experience executing food safety and food processing facility cleaning and sanitation programs, or boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry or related field or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of experience executing food safety and food processing facility cleaning and sanitation programs, or boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) providing technical support and training at customer sites and attending client site inspections and evaluation of CIP systems, utilities and wastewater treatment programs.
  • DE facilitating development and testing of value propositions and collecting competitive intelligence.
  • DE defining product marketing strategy and leading cross-functional activities to support the development of short- and long-term strategies and plans for demand generation.
