Plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area of operation, including full profit and loss responsibility, while acting within the scope of company objectives and policies to accomplish divisional and regional goals. This role involves leading store teams to foster Dollar General's mission and values, ensure fair administration of human resources policies, provide superior customer service, achieve annual sales growth targets, effectively utilize tools for inventory presentation and management, execute company objectives, maximize performance through sensible scheduling, develop human capital through proactive recruitment and training, and protect company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies. The position also requires identifying and developing new business opportunities within the operational area, such as distribution flow improvements, merchandising display efforts, store growth and real estate site selection, recruiting strategy, training and development priorities, employee relations, customer service, and systems implementation. Consistent and effective communication of divisional and regional priorities to store teams is essential.
