District Manager

Ally WasteBrighton, CO
Onsite

About The Position

As a District Manager, you own the success of your district. That means managing service delivery across a portfolio of apartment communities, leading a team of Service Valets, and being the face of Ally Waste to the property managers you serve. It's equal parts field leadership and relationship management - you'll spend meaningful time on-site with your team and clients, not behind a desk. This is a role for someone who thrives on accountability, takes pride in building a strong team culture, and knows that consistent execution is what earns client trust over time.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a team in a field operations, service, or facilities environment.
  • Strong communication skills - you're comfortable building relationships with both frontline workers and property management clients.
  • Highly organized and self-directed; able to manage competing priorities across multiple sites without losing the details.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable spending significant time in the field daily.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in waste management, property management, facilities services, or a similarly distributed field operation.
  • Background in hourly workforce management - recruiting, scheduling, and developing part-time staff.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or operations management software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee service delivery across your assigned district, ensuring nightly valet trash and recycling pickups are completed correctly and on time.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop your team of Service Valets.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to verify service quality and resident and valet compliance.
  • Provide on-call support to your team and communities as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with property managers through regular site visits and prompt communication.
  • Proactively identify and resolve service issues before they become client concerns.
  • Ensure daily delivery of valet reports to designated property staff.
  • Coach and develop your team members, identifying growth opportunities and providing regular feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records across customer, associate, and operational reporting.
  • Support new community launches including container distributions and onboarding coordination.
  • Drive to properties within your district and to the inventory warehouse as needed.
  • Uphold and promote all safety policies; report incidents thoroughly and promptly.
