About The Position

The District Manager is responsible for providing direction, supervision, and leadership for all operations of the district's retail stores. This includes managing retail managers, and overseeing hiring, coaching, counseling, discipline, and evaluations. The role involves creating and executing action plans to improve store performance, integrating Shoe Palace policies and procedures into retail operations, and ensuring safety and security are maintained. The District Manager will also maintain store call frequency and records, notes, and action items for follow-up.

Requirements

Minimum 4-8 years of retail, multi-unit management experience
High level of energy and integrity is a must
Self-directed and driven
Comfortable working in and adapting to changing environments
Valid California Driver’s License
Ability to build solid working relationships with a wide variety of employees, vendors and other 3rd party agencies

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is preferred or equivalent successful work experience
Good sense of humor
Ability to speak Spanish a plus
