About The Position

Inspire Early Education is seeking a passionate District Manager to oversee the operations and performance of 9 schools in the Harrisburg/York, PA area. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of a safe, healthy, and high-quality educational environment where children and employees are empowered to grow, learn, and thrive. The District Manager will drive educational excellence, operational efficiency, and employee engagement, embodying the company's core values of being Confident, Engaged, and Inspiring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or a related field preferred; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in Early Childhood Education, including multi-site leadership overseeing multiple licensed childcare centers.
  • Demonstrated success leading through others by coaching, mentoring, and developing Center Directors and leadership teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, enrollment, tuition revenue, financial performance, and key operational metrics across multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to hold teams accountable while building trust, fostering engagement, and creating a positive, people-first culture.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare licensing regulations, health and safety standards, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to analyze business trends, identify opportunities, develop action plans, and drive measurable results.
  • Able to meet all licensing, background check, health clearance, and certification requirements.

  • Experience leading change, acquisitions, new school openings, or organizational transitions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and support School Directors through training, performance reviews, and development.
  • Set goals, drive accountability, and support new school integrations.
  • Oversee operations across 9 schools, ensuring compliance with licensing, health, safety, and company standards.
  • Drive enrollment growth, support family engagement, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Lead regional financial performance, including revenue, occupancy, staffing efficiency, expenses, and profitability.
  • Ensure high-quality curriculum delivery, classroom experiences, and educator development across all schools.
  • Partner with Recruitment, HR, Enrollment, Compliance, and Facilities teams to support regional success.
  • Ensure maintenance requests are completed, and facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Travel regularly within the assigned region.
  • Meet all licensing, background check, health clearance, and certification requirements.
