About The Position

The District Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of a business plan in accordance with City Electric Supply policy and procedures. This includes ensuring profitability, motivation, direction, recruiting, managing and developing branch employees, facilitating continuous improvements, and providing sound leadership for the district. A District can range from 5-10 branch locations. They must work with other Districts to ensure customers from across the network receive a consistently high level of service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in operations, sales, or branch management within a distribution or wholesale environment.
  • At least three (3) years of experience leading multiple locations or teams of managers and supervisors.
  • Proven success in managing profitable operations, achieving sales growth, and meeting financial targets.
  • Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and expense control.
  • Proficiency with operational systems such as IMS and other business management software.
  • Experience negotiating vendor programs, managing SPA/CSP agreements, and optimizing rebate structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to relocate as required to support district operations.

  • Oversee collection of any outstanding dept.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our key vendors and agents.
