Requirements

  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years multi-unit management experience, convenience store experience preferred.
  • Must consent to and pass a background check, as well as Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a passion for sightseeing, as there will be 60% travel between multiple Stinker locations.
  • We don’t expect you to be a tech guru (we have a whole department for that!), but you’ll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer operation.
  • You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.
  • Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees (hey, at least it’s not Antarctica).

  • Act as an agent for change; being flexible and patient, open to suggestions, and a keen eye for opportunities to improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Keep our food game strong, overseeing store level food performance, ensuring profitability through effective management of sales, costs, and waste.
  • Crunch numbers on food service financials and turn them into performance gold- because spreadsheets are just recipes for success (with fewer calories).
  • Guide and support Store and Food Managers in hitting food goals, sales targets, KPIs, and food and health code standards across all locations- basically making sure every store serves success (and not citations) by following our food program playbook to perfection.
  • Lead a “Train the Trainer” program for food service production and procedures, because teaching others to make great food (and follow the rules) is the secret sauce to turning good employees into legendary food champions.
  • Hit the road for regular store visits, approximately 60% travel time, to evaluate food execution, merchandising, training, operational support, and adherence to brand standards. You’ll log plenty of windshield time, so queue up your best playlists- this role comes with a front-row seat to the open road!
  • Keep an eagle eye on food safety and compliance- because every sandwich, slice, and snack should be delicious and up to code. Nobody likes a side of “oops”.
  • Team up with operations, maintenance, category management, and other partners to keep the food program running smoother than melted butter- driving innovation and making sure our brand shows up deliciously in every state we serve.
  • Stay on top of all food service tech and tools. Ex. DCG, Avery, PDI, Sure Program, Taiga, Sysco Shop, Edward Don, Toast, XtraChef. Basically, if it runs our food program, you should probably know about it.
