About The Position

The District HRPD Coordinator provides administrative support to HRPD Craft Recruiters and assists with the district's Human Resources and People Development (HRPD) functions. This role participates in strategic planning, supports district-level projects, and aids in the coordination and administration of training programs. The position requires a basic understanding of HRPD principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of HRPD-related principles, practices, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to research and analyze information.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
  • Working towards an HR designation preferred.
  • Some co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to HRPD Craft Recruiters.
  • Participates in district HRPD strategic planning process.
  • Provides support on district-level projects/initiatives as assigned.
  • Assists with research and general administrative support.
  • Provides administrative support for career management process and systems.
  • Maintains and prepares scheduled and ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Assists with coordination and administration of training and facilitation plans/ programs.
  • Provides implementation support to Lead District HRPD Advisor.
