This is a highly visible senior operations management position overseeing a district office with multiple service lines, offering significant growth potential. The role reports to regional leadership and is responsible for achieving financial and operational goals set by senior management, as well as developing goals for the Impact Fire teams. The District General Manager will provide management and oversight to department managers across fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression lines of business. This role involves managing a large P&L with a strong focus on local business growth, utilizing available resources to achieve financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, operational management, or construction management.
  • Prior management experience within the fire protection industry or similar trades and service business is strongly preferred.
  • Equivalent industry leadership experience will be considered.
  • Progressive experience in managing a large district-based P&L and team.
  • Solid business acumen including forecasting, labor productivity, billing/working capital and cash conversions.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Proven track record of developing leaders, building accountability, culture, recruiting & retaining talent, and scaling the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry licensing or certification of competency with fire alarms and commercial sprinkler systems is a plus.
