About The Position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a District Director of Patient Services, Compliance and Safety for Cleveland Clinic system in Ohio. This position requires a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential. The role involves providing direct oversight for the patient dining program across Cleveland Clinic hospitals, ensuring meals are properly prepared and delivered. It also includes developing patient menus in compliance with standards, managing the CBORD system, liaising with the clinical nutrition team, ensuring Joint Commission compliance, overseeing safety and incident reporting, updating policies and procedures, maintaining client relationships, developing rounding programs, identifying client needs, and managing operational progress and profit.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer services and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic sites monthly
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of healthcare food service/patient services experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of CBORD preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight for patient dining program across Cleveland Clinic hospitals to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
  • Develops patient menus with culinary team to ensure compliance with Cleveland Clinic and regulatory standards
  • Collaborates in maintaining CBORD system and making necessary updates to menu items, patient diets, food allergies, etc.
  • Acts as a liaison with clinical nutrition team to ensure effective communication between departments
  • Ensure Joint Commission compliance and readiness, and conduct routine safety inspections at all hospital sites with corrective action plans.
  • Oversees safety and incident reporting using client and Aramark resources
  • Regularly update patient dining polices and procedures
  • Maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Develops and evaluates patient and nurse rounding program at assigned sites
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress.
  • Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
