About The Position

The District Branch Manager is responsible for leading the sales, service, operational performance, and member experience across an assigned group of We Florida Financial center locations. This role partners with Financial Center Managers to drive business growth through deposit, loan, fee-based service, consumer, and business relationship development. The District Manager also supports community engagement, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives, employee relations, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent execution of We Florida Financial standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
  • Banking, credit union, financial services, and/or retail experience required.
  • Ability to establish credibility as a trusted leader and consistently demonstrate effective leadership behaviors.
  • Ability to analyze reports, metrics, and other data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization, influence others to achieve desired outcomes, and lead proactively through change.
  • Maintains a strong business network and demonstrates business acumen through community involvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Three to five years of sales leadership experience preferred.
  • Three to five years of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Financial Center Managers and their teams.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with We Florida Financial standards, goals, and performance expectations.
  • Use available HR tools and provide insight to strengthen team member capabilities.
  • Manage the sales function for the assigned district and coach team members to create a result-driven sales environment.
  • Lead and consistently coach the defined sales and service process across the district, using consultative sales skills and appropriate tools to help teams proactively identify members and prospect needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
  • Ensure team members consistently deliver the We Florida Financial member experience.
  • Implement sales initiatives that support revenue growth and goal achievement.
  • Use management tools to monitor sales performance and provide support, coaching, and guidance as needed.
  • Oversee operational activities within the district, including financial center cash management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Support risk management practices that safeguard assets, minimize fraud, and maintain a secure financial center environment.
  • Collaborate with support functions to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Review and evaluate regular Financial Center activity reports, including staffing, loans, deposits, overdrafts, and audits, to support district and regional profitability and performance objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Implement risk management protocols to help mitigate operational and financial risks within the district.
  • Actively participate in community activities to develop and grow relationships that benefit the communities We Florida Financial serves.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, supporting timely and fair conflict resolution, and promoting open communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Support recruitment, selection, development, and retention of qualified talent by fostering an inclusive and respectful team environment.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to team members, identify strengths and development opportunities, and support development plans through regular one-on-one conversations.
  • Ensure staff receive appropriate training to sell, cross-sell, and/or refer products and services, as appropriate, to support individual and team sales and productivity goals.
  • Represent We Florida Financial in the local community through events and initiatives.
  • Support CRA efforts to help ensure regulatory compliance and reinforce the credit union’s commitment to community reinvestment.
  • Remain accountable for regularly evaluating employee performance, providing meaningful career growth opportunities, ensuring appropriate coaching is delivered, maintaining visibility within the district, and collaborating with Financial Center employees to reinforce company culture and We Florida Financial standards of excellence.
  • Oversee and support marketing initiatives for the assigned district, including partnership and development efforts in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Ensure compliance with We Florida Financial policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Use Microsoft Office, department-specific systems, and other technology tools effectively to support productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Work with on-site equipment.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
