What You’ll Be Doing: As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be at the heart of it all, ensuring our guests and team have a larger-than-life experience. You’ll oversee operations, make sure our service is top-notch, and bring our group events to life! This means everything from keeping the team staffed and happy, to handling the numbers, to making sure every show is picture-perfect. Most of all, you’ll be working with a team to create an atmosphere that’s pure magic for both our guests and your fellow employees.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in theatre management and/or guest service.
- Exceptional guest service, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication & organization skills.
- Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of AV equipment and POS systems.
- The ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
- A passion for teaching and developing your team.
- The ability to handle high levels of stress (it's a fast-paced environment!).
- Physical stamina (think walking, standing, and twisting).
- Willingness to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (we’re open 365 days a year, and the show goes on!).
Responsibilities
- Being the face of Megaplex, always ready to deliver quality guest service.
- Overseeing all the action in the Megaplex.
- Keeping things clean and safe for everyone.
- Making sure our inventory is on point.
- Planning, forecasting, and tracking sales like a pro.
- Staying savvy with digital cinema software
- Tackling any projection issues that come up.
- Ensuring our building and public areas sparkle.
- Leading and developing our awesome team.
- Acting as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- And other duties as assigned.
