About The Position

Responsible for accurately transferring inventory into defined pick locations throughout the facility, and also picking and processing mass retail orders. This role involves following Standard Work, including Safety Standards, and assisting in maintaining healthy shelf inventory by stocking parts, ordering parts, minimizing held orders, and managing overstock. The position requires making inventory in active locations as "pick ready" as possible, picking mass retail module orders, and performing daily 6S activities. The employee will safely maneuver the facility operating a Walkie Rider or Walkie Stacker, accurately picking and packing the correct quantity of parts/items per order, and inspecting equipment. This role also includes performing on-the-job training, tracking parts using an RF gun, cross-training in all Distribution areas, and assisting other areas within Distribution where equipment may be required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to operate or be trained to operate a Walkie Rider, Stacker, and Tugger
Ability to safely operate and maintain Walkie Rider, Stacker, and Tugger through daily inspections.
Ability to verify quality of product.
Ability to use an RF gun.
Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently.
Basic math skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work, contribute and succeed in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Follows all Standard Work including Safety Standards
Assists in maintaining healthy shelf inventory by stocking parts from the PND locations, ordering parts, minimizing held orders, and managing overstock.
Makes the inventory in active locations as “pick ready” as possible
Picking mass retail module orders
Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as stocking picking supplies, removing waste and recyclables, housekeeping, and maintaining an organized and safe work area throughout the pick zones
Safely maneuvers the facility when operating a Walkie Rider or Walkie Stacker
Accurately picking/packing the correct quantity of parts/items needed per order and placing them in the correct container.
Inspects Walkie Rider, Walkie Stacker, and Tugger vehicles according to checklist.
Performs on the job training as needed.
Correctly track parts using RF gun.
Cross train in all Distribution areas/departments.
Assist any areas within Distribution where the equipment may be required.
