About The Position

A Distribution Technician is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, issuing materials, supplies, and equipment, and maintaining the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner. They ensure efficient and timely delivery of supplies and equipment to user departments and maintain accurate records on inventory and equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Mathematical ability for unit of measure conversions, receiving counts, and verification
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to speak and read English for training purposes and communications with patients/co-workers
• This is a safety sensitive position. The essential duties of the job require the employee to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner. A lapse in attention to detail may constitute a threat to health or safety resulting in injury, illness, or death. This position prohibits the current use of any illegal drugs.

• Hospital or industrial warehouse distribution or inventory control experience a plus
• Possess good guest relations skills
