About The Position

What You Should Know About the Distribution Technician:Typical hours and days vary. (1st shift 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., 2nd shift 12:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.)This position is based within Jefferson Regional Materials Management Department Job Summary:A Distribution Technician is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, issuing materials, supplies, and equipment, and maintaining the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner. They ensure efficient and timely delivery of supplies and equipment to user departments and maintain accurate records on inventory and equipment.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
This is a safety sensitive position.
Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
Mathematical ability for unit of measure conversions, receiving counts, and verification
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to speak and read English for training purposes and communications with patients/co-workers
The essential duties of the job require the employee to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner.
A lapse in attention to detail may constitute a threat to health or safety resulting in injury, illness, or death.
This position prohibits the current use of any illegal drugs.
