About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and organized Distribution Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of inventory, supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipping activities, and promoting a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both warehouse and office settings.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or shipping supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanners.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in varying warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations.
  • Ensure the accurate receiving, storage, staging, and shipping of products.
  • Verify shipping schedules, truck routes, and shipping container departures.
  • Review customer orders for accuracy before shipment.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Assist with loading and unloading pallets of bottled water as needed.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met before shipment.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse staging areas and pallet rows.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Monitor warehouse temperature to maintain approximately 50°F and prevent freezing conditions.
  • Meet with drivers at the beginning of each shift to review schedules, deliveries, and priorities.
  • Complete and maintain shipping, inventory, and operational paperwork.
  • Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Train, coach, and supervise warehouse personnel to ensure productivity and compliance with company procedures.
  • Verify inventory counts.
  • Check warehouse temperature (maintain approximately 50°F and prevent freezing).
  • Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Meet with drivers to review daily routes and schedules.
  • Complete and review required paperwork and shipping documentation.
